This poster series focuses on the font Mrs. Eaves, created by Zuzana Licko in 1996. Inspired by the already popular font Baskerville, this font adds subtle changes from its predecessor to create a unique typographic experience. To better elaborate on these changes and other unique qualities of Mrs. Eaves, I designed a poster series that visually explores the nature of the font.

Overview

Besides describing the typographer and their font, the posters also focused on visually showcasing the unique characteristics of the typeface through images, quote design, alphabet, and specimen studies. These posters had their font elements and colors carefully crafted to enhance their hierarchy and create a connection between themselves.

Color Scheme

The pastel color was chosen to enhance the elegance, classic styling, and revival of Mr. Eaves. The goal is to improve the hierarchy and create a connection between the posters by placing the font elements and the use of colors.
